ABSTRACTS – GUIDELINES FOR ISCEST AN ABSTRACT 

You are asked to follow these guidelines when submitting an abstract for oral or poster presentation:

  • Abstracts should be no longer than one A4 page in portrait layout
  • The title of the abstract should be as concise as possible and should appear in bold, lower case and centred
  • Co-authors and affiliations below the title in italics (the main author’s name should be underlined, and the name of the presenting author should be marked with an asterisk (*)
  • Main body of text to be left aligned
  • Single spacing throughout

Abstracts should be sent as an MS Word email attachment to the relevant thematic section as follows:

       Conferenceteam@iscest.org

  • Please include your full address and contact details of the main author and the presenting author in the email and indicate whether you are submitting an oral or a poster presentation

Postal Presentations

The conference provides opportunities for postal  presentations.

Participants doing postal presentations are expected to stand by their posters and talk through them. Please note that slots for postal presentation are pretty limited. All request might not be guaranteed.

PUBLICATION

All papers will be peer-reviewed and published in the ISCEST Conference Proceedings (Peer Review).

Notes on full paper submission

  • Papers’ length should not be more than the maximum of 5000 words.
  • Papers should be CAMERA READY including texts, graphs, tables and charts and should include: name(s) of author(s); title; abstract; main text; references. References should be HARVARD STYLES
  • Papers accepted for publication will be included in the ISCEST Conference Proceedings, Volume 1, December 2018, that will be published before the beginning of the conference.
  • Each participant receives a free copy of the book.
  • The deadline for submitting texts of papers is  31 October 2018.
  • Papers are sent directly to Thematic Sections Chairs.
  • After submitting papers, participants are notified within a week or two on the acceptance of their papers.

Important notes

  1. Only registered participants will have their papers included in the ISCEST Conference Proceedings, Vol. 1, 2018.Participants who want their papers to be considered for publication should pay their registration fees by 30 September 2018.
  1. Papers submitted after the deadline date and papers of late registered participants (who register after 30 September 2018) may be presented at the Conference but they WON’T be published in the Conference Proceedings.
